A Little Red Dress

All I need is a little girl to put into this red dress. I hate making button holes so I sewed the button on top and will add snaps as soon as I can find any. Somebody promised that a little girl would wear this dress while on her summer vacation in Hawaii. I think it will be perfect on a Hawaiian Princess.

Fireplaces and Pumpkins

Last year my oldest daughter went on a pumpkin kick. I went over to good old Wal-Mart and bought a half yard of several colors of upholstery fabric and made pumpkins out of them. I was able to make about two pumpkins out of each half yard of fabric, one for my daughter and one for me.

This year I put some of them on my upstairs mantel and some on my just finished and hung downstairs mantel. My oldest daughter made the vinyl and wood additions.

I'm not very good yet at this picture posting thing yet. And I may be doing this all wrong. But here goes. This is the fabric I've chosen for my M.E. apron swap. Isn’t it just wild? Well maybe not for some.



This is the pattern I'm using. I just have to brag a little here. The picture on the front of the pattern is one of my daughters. If you already have this pattern the little girls on the inside cover are two of my granddaughters. What's more another one of my daughters took the photographs. Such talented girls, they must have got it all from .... Well I just won't go into that right now. If anybody is interested in buying a copy of this pattern here is a link.
